In this film, Twist shows how the F6F can be used well against the supposed Ki "Superplane". The Ki is a good ride but has a long list of weaknesses to go with it's strengths; one of those is high alt performance which I use against the Ki's assembled here.
The film has several cuts from when he was flying; first a solo engagement over A62, then a cut to two Kis that are below him and he starts a dive. You'll see him suddenly pull up and ignore the Ki's - why? Check radar to find out.
Next cut shows him finishing off the reason he climbed out above; then a cut to a big multi-Ki vs. himself (F6F) and Frog (P47) fight. The Ki drivers are making a lot of classic mistakes in fighting the F6F, and it tells in the kill tally.
